High Density Concrete Blocks

Almatin’s dry-stacked shielding module system is engineered to interlock seamlessly, forming a tight, leak-free therapy room that can be configured to virtually any size or shape. The system’s unique sine-wave module design eliminates straight-line seams, delivering superior attenuation of neutrons, photons, and particle radiation at all joint interfaces.
Available in four density options — 150, 220, 250, and 300 lbs/cu.ft. (2.4, 3.52, 4, and 5 g/cu.cm) — Almatin’s shielding modules provide flexible performance to meet a wide range of radiation protection requirements. Compared to traditional mass concrete vaults, Almatin’s construction method requires up to 50% less space, enabling more efficient facility design without compromising shielding integrity.
Dramatically Reduced Installation Time
Almatin’s shielding modules are pre-assembled into stackable V-Pack units, allowing entire shielding sections to be lifted and positioned directly into place using a crane. This modular approach delivers exceptional speed, simplicity, and efficiency when constructing radiation-shielded structures of any size.
The benefits of Almatin’s V-Pack system increase with project scale — the larger and more heavily shielded the structure, the greater the reduction in installation time and on-site labor. In proton therapy and high-energy radiation facilities, V-Pack offers a powerful alternative to traditional concrete construction, cutting months off typical build schedules while maintaining superior shielding performance and structural precision.
